Hi, I’m Kim — Welcome to Moonbeams Boutique!
I’ve always been a girly girl.
Give me dresses, ruffles, beautiful colors, feminine details, and a little—or a lot—of sparkle, and I’m happy. And since I’m surrounded by boys at home, I suppose it was only a matter of time before I created a little corner of my world where I could fully embrace all the pretty things I love.
That little corner became Moonbeams Boutique.
Moonbeams started as a side project and, for now, it still is. After years in the corporate world, I wanted something that was completely my own—something creative, fun, and about as far removed from my day job as I could get. My dream is to grow this little boutique until one day the side project becomes the main project.
The name Moonbeams just felt right. It’s a little ethereal, a little whimsical, and a little quirky—which is probably a pretty good description of me, too. I wanted the boutique to have that same personality: feminine and beautiful, but fun, approachable, and never afraid of a little extra sparkle.
But there’s something more behind Moonbeams than simply loving pretty clothes.
I firmly believe that every girl deserves to feel beautiful and special, and I believe fashion has an incredible ability to do that.
There’s a moment when you put on the right dress and something changes. You stand a little taller. You smile at yourself in the mirror. Maybe you twirl around just to see the skirt move. For a moment, you don’t just look beautiful—you feel beautiful.
That feeling is what I want Moonbeams to be about.
It’s also why I put so much care into the pieces I choose. I don’t want to simply fill a website with merchandise. I look for pieces that have something special about them—the gorgeous fabric, the perfect ruffle, beautiful beadwork, an incredible silhouette, an unexpected detail, or sometimes just enough sparkle to make you stop and say, Oh, I love that.
From everyday feminine styles and accessories to prom and formal gowns, special-occasion dresses, and bridal, every piece is selected because I think it deserves its moment—and because I can imagine someone feeling amazing when she wears it.
That same philosophy carries through to the way I package your order. Opening something from Moonbeams should feel like receiving a present, even when you bought the present for yourself. The little details matter to me because you matter to me.
Moonbeams is still a small business and very much a labor of love. Behind every item is one slightly quirky, dress-loving, sparkle-obsessed girl carefully choosing, photographing, describing, packing, and sending these pieces out into the world.
And I wouldn't have it any other way.
